Hi to all. I'm a beginner to audio, with not much knowledge or experience. This is why I need a help as much as I can get in that regard. I read a lot about Halion Sonic what make me to decide to get one. Yes I did successfully installed on my laptop. And learn how to load different instruments to this 16 bay slots and try to play some of them, but that about it.
My question is: how beginner like me learn to use Halion Sonic?. Where i find some tutorial or tutorial on DVDs will be the best?. I now some folks perhaps say Halion Sonic is easy.
Ah, everything is easy if you know how to use it. How come Steinberg was able to creating a amazing software like this, but forgot to make some tutorials (for beginners) how to use it ?. Now I'm looking like: someone who purchase a nice car but don't know how to drive.
This is my first post on this forum, I hope some one will help me or give me a good advise.

Best regards
Ryszard

I don't think any third parties will market any 'full blown' tutorial DVDs unless the product takes off in a massive way and gives them the market potential to sell reasonably large quantities.
Hopefully Steinberg will produce some short videos, but I'm surprised they haven't produced anything so far given HS has been out for a few months now, as these are the crucial months in which to create a 'buzz', on YouTube for example. Perhaps they've got their hands full finishing off the latest version of Halion?

Yes, I agree "full blown tutorial" perhaps will be to much to ask. But considering a beginner's like me, will be nice if Steinbers make some simple tutorial video and post on Steinberg website next to this 3 promotional video what they all ready there. Or post on U-tube. I did send them a email with that suggestion a day ago. For now I try to understand "how to do it" reading PDF manual.

Best regards

The best chance will be Streamworks Audio. They do DVDs and download videos on plug-in synths. Very good too! Now can someone have a look at my post about PCs for HalionSonic and give some input? Thanks so much!
