Hello All! 1st post etc... Very Happy

I can't remember exactly when it happened, but after either installing Wavelab 7, or after scanning the shared VST folder for the first time, I've had two additions make their home on my desktop. One has the Google Chrome icon and is called "memreport", and the other is a seemingly empty folder called "DEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[".

memreport seems to be some sort of reporting tool (rather obviously, perhaps) but all the values are set at 0 and don't seem to change. The empty folder is just, er... an empty folder.

Any ideas as to what they are or where they've come from? Can I get rid of them or should I move them somewhere else?

Thanks in advance

Bit of a cheeky bump here... Surely someone must know where they've come from what they do?

It seems you're the only one with this issue - I've never heard of it before. I think you could move both to another place and see if they are recreated after starting WL7. If not - get rid of them. If so - someone else might know more about it.

Cheers Arjan. After the lack of responses i thought i may be in the minority with this. Was a bit apprehensive as WL6 was more than a little buggy for me and didnt want to rock the boat on this version as it's got off to such a flying start on my machine!

Will proceed with caution...
