| Can anyone tell me how I can play back the first track and record on the second track without the first track being recoded on the 2nd track.. Tried all the things it tell me in the manual but cant seem to stop the first track being recorded at play back.. |

Yea Longstack: What is your SOUNDCARD? an audio Loop is happening.
Welcome to sound on sound. Course that's not what your after.
Is the Monitor button off on track one when you are recording on track 2?
I had this same problem when I use to use a Tascam 144

| found out the problem it was thw Sound card I have a Creative Audigy4 Pro and I had not got it turned to the correct setting. It had to be on Line 3. |
