Greetings,

I have Cubase LE4 bought bundled with a TASCAM US 122Mk 2. I've loaded /downloaded everything, registered, received the activation code and applied it to the only license (I'm a CuBase virgin) in the LCC. It's an SEL. Upon entering the code and clicking 'continue' on the next window, select license but there is no 'download license' icon. So what to click?

The completed email support form in My Steinberg doesn't send and refers me to what would appear to be a link to a known issue in the Knowledge Base about missing 'download license' icons. Even though I'm registered and logged in, clicking on the link leads to a; you are not authorised to view this help type message. Links that do work take me to the couldn't be easier video which only tells those with a 'download license' icon how to activate their purchase.

Changing out the LCC hasn't helped, the internet connection is good. There are no error message, just going around in circles.

What to do? Thanks in anticipation.

Hello,

Under certain conditions and customized settings in the Windows Control Panel it could happen that the "License Download" button is not available in the eLicenser Control Center in version 6.1.0 and 6.1.1

Here are 3 ways to resolve the issue:

•After entering the Activation Code and pressing "Next", select the target eLicenser with a left mouse click. Then press TAB and ENTER successively on your computer keyboard to start the license download.
•Another option is to change the Fonts size in the Windows Control Panel to the default setting which should bring the missing button back to live.
Win XP: Control Panel / Display / Appearance / Font Size = Normal

Win Vista / 7: Control Panel / Fonts / Change Font Size / Font Size = Smaller 100%)

•If you are not dependent on the eLicenser Control Center version 6.1.0 or 6.1.1 you can install an older version. Uninstall the eLicenser Control Center in the Windows Control Panel and install version 6.0.2 afterwards, which you can find here

Thank you Chris, I couldn't change the font in the Vista Control Panel but the tab/enter sequence did the trick and the license downloaded.

All I need now is some talent.
