|
|
I am a novice with cubase
I play notes into the programme, Cubase 4, and layer want to edit them for position and length in Key Editor.
I am able to use quantise to set the start positions, ( of a selected range in a track) on the beat, but I am unable to make the notes the same length, to say all have length 1/8 note as set in quantise box, unless I go through all one by one and drag to size, which is a pain.
So all help will be most gratefully recieved |

Open the pdf operation manual, type "Quantize length" into the search. This leads you to p.329 "Advanced Quantize functions" ->"Quantize lengths".
alternatively:
"MIDI functions" -> "fixed lengths" _________________ Cubase 5.1.1 | XP Pro SP2 | Gigabyte EP45-DS3R | Intel E 8500 | EMU 1820 m | 4 GB Corsair Dual channel | PoCo Element | Cubase Essential 5 | FJS Amilo 7425 Pent.
