This awesome program is updated. Grab it while it's hot!

Dear users: This update replaces v1.26, which was to be released officially. Some incompatibilities were reported with v1.26, and I couldn't let them pass. The password for the attached file is "jbridge" ( use winrar/winzip/7zip to to decompress it ). You can install any newer or older jBridge version over an existing installation without the need to re-create the bridging files.

jBridge 1.27:
- fixed problem introduced in v1.26 which caused older versions of WavesShell's not to start ( sorry, guys ).
- Fixed automation problems with Ableton Live and Sonar ( also applies to v1.2 ).
- Fixed opcode 53 error that some users where experiencing ( also applies to v1.2 ).
- Fixed opcode 24 error that could happen when loading large amounts of data. jBridge

v1.26:
- Improved midi event handling.
- Improved automation events handling.
- Improved handling of files that fail to load as VST plugins.
- Fixed problem with Revalver MKIII not starting when bridged.
- Reduced memory usage.- Now supports plugins with up to 64 outputs by default.
- fixed crash that could happen with Studio One when loading projects.
- internal compatibility option added for better handling of Waves shell plugins.
- now checks if all the related processes are running with the proper privileges.
- other minor fixes/enhancements.

jBridger tool v1.17:
- fixed crashes on scan with some plugins
- It's now possible to choose to process only 32bit plugins, only 64bit plugins, or all the plugins.
- added an option not to add .32./.64. to the created files names.
- other minor fixes/enhancements.

Same here. I was actually getting serious problems with Kore 2 and 1.27, and straight away he sent a fix that works perfect.

Really agree ! , he built five updates for me over a weekend due to sampletank woe, 1.26f finally cracked it, brilliant and a few days later 1.27 also working very well.
Service beyond the call of duty as normal from Joao.

Yeah, i should have left that part out Smile My intention with the post was of course to inform about the new update for everybody, but also to let others who don't use it see what's been fixed, so maybe they will use it from now on if they hesitated before.

It's really a bargin for what it does. And as mentioned, the author actually cares about his customers! What about that?

If it weren't for jBridge I would not be able to use more memory than 3 GB or use 64bit version of Cubase.
And the support is awesome.

Jbridge is indeed a great tool. But if Steinberg was to integrate it into Cubase, it would have to be as invisible as the VSTbrige. Without all these options. They do help a lot when one runs into problems, but only those who are prepared to deal with computer architecture stuff. Most users just want to make music and would not be very happy about having to deal with funny parameters.

As others have said - google will find it. It's not free but cheap. There is a demo version you can try.

That's funny, because one of the things that really annoyed me about vst bridge was that it was not obvious that it was been used, but that's probably just my take, I do understand what your saying but when you consider Windows daw tweaks, cubase preferences plus the options on other Vst instruments and any number of workarounds then it seems par for the course and as you say the options do help.
