Hi Candy 2 here. I have a simple question. Which bass vst has the most loops . Im not looking for bass sounds but rather riffs and patterns..

I've recently started using Broomstick Bass and think it's great. You can download a demo from

Which of these comes with the most and or best loops abd phrases. Or does Trilogy only come with single sounds and no loops. _________________ Cubase5.1 Moto 828.Halion |

Trilogy is very good sounding bass vsti but it does not have any built bass midi files.
Broomstick Bass is worth a good hard look. I'm going to order it myself today especially if it doesn't need a dongle. You might also do a search for bass midi files and use them with the VB1 included with most of the newer Cubase sequencer packages.
Good Luck,

In Broomstick bass you can write the midi back to another track as you play (it describes how to do this in the manual). You can then edit this if you want and connect it to Trilogy. Then you get the convenience of patterns and fills from broomstick... and the wonderful sounds of trilogy....... thats what I'v been doing this week and its incredible.

You might also want to check out the Electric Bass from the Liquid Instruments series by www.uberschall.de . It’s a collection of bass phrases and riffs that comes bundled with a special version of the Melodyne engine which gives you a lot of freedom to customize the phrases to fit with your music.

what can I do with the bass-phrases?
do I take a phrase and then compose around it?
or can I compose my stuff and then search for the fitting phrases? |
