After re-installing SX3.1.1, all the midi devices are missing. I can only find some script files on the installation cd, but where shall I put them ?

On the start menu> Steinberg Cubase SX3 item there is a program called Cubase SX3 Application data folder. Click on that to open the area where SX3 holds it's data.

There is a scripts folder there (or should be) and the scripts should live in the patchnames folder.

Thank you, I found it in the program files folder. The installation did not make a script folder. Strange.

Hi HansH

Had the same problem. I think you have installed SX 3.1.1.994 without first installing 3.1.1.993. SX 3.1.1.994 is only a patch update to version 3.1.1.993.

Re-installing Cubase and applying the updates in corect order should work for you. See thread below...
