When you say that nothing is recorded, do you mean that you cannot record styles and fills and so on by pressing different keys on your MIDI keyboard when in rec. mode and/or not being able to record when manually playing and using GA2 as GM sound module?
Do you want to record a particular style and get all the notes that goes with that syle for further editing?
Please try to be a bit more specific.
All the best!!

Hello and thank you...
(sorry for the delay in following your help... i was unable to try GA until now... because of a lot of work to do... i didn´t have time!!!)
I was trying to record GA on Garageband rigth now and i couldn't record anything!!!
i explain, i used to recorde GA on Cubase SX and it was by the simple way... and a track, assign Groove Agent to Midi Input and... play the GA directly on the monitor screen... sometimes i've use midi keyboard, but most of the times i just push nobs and turn the weels.
Now, i´ve manage to PLAY GA on Garageband... but no RECORDING i don't understand why...
Could you help?
Thanks again.

it's simplest to control GA with a midi track and record that midi track. _________________ SX3, GA2, Kontakt 2.0, GPO, GBB, VST 32 5.1R1

...that feature "Recording MIDI data directly to the host" of Groove Agent 2 is only available in Cubase SX. If you are working with Garage Band you have to use the feature "Record MIDI Data to MIDI file". Hit right-click inside of Groove Agent 2 to find the feature I am talking about...
See you,
Micha. |

|
|
Hi Guys,
I would really appreciate your help here.
As I understand from the threads I've read, in order to create drum parts for GB09 with GA3, I have to record it to a midi file 1st before moving it into GB.
Tried doing that but I noticed that the midi file would appear fleetingly on the desktop and then it disappears, never to be found.
Am I missing a step here?
Thanks. _________________ WinXP SP3, Cubase 5, Groove Agent 3, Triton ProX, MOTIF ES6, MR816CSX, WX5 + VL70m, Mac OSX, M-audio Prokeys Sono 61, Firewire Solo |
