I posted a similar question in the Groove Agent section.. I'm trying to create song intros, and endings (mostly endings) using Virtual Guitarist (and my other virtual instruments) but cannot figure out how to do it. Do you have any tips or tricks on how to create intros/endings?
(I don't want to have to use song fade out for all of my songs... there must be a way to create endings) |

I guess from the lack of response, it's not possible to slow down a riff pattern to a stop and sustain the last chord? That's all I really wanted to do. |

Well you'd do a slow down via song tempo using the tempo track, and page 21 of the VG manual tells you how to play sustained chords. such as a sustained chord at a song ending.

I usually use the F#1 for a fill trigger followed by G#1 (or sustain pedal) on the first beat of the next bar. This only works with latch on (A#1 to toggle it off and on) and you have to hold down the chord note(s). Basically you get a fill followed by a fast strum. HTH. _________________ Rick
