Hello,
Ive just purchased a brand new copy of Xphraze and seem to be having a bit of difficulty. I'm new to most of this so I may be overlooking something very basic, if so, my apologies. I have inserted the disc as set out in the owners manual and followed all on-screen prompts. After a few minutes the installation was successful. (I wasn't asked for the serial number). When I then click on the Xphraze icon on my desktop I am taken to the screen that has the installers, license, Xphraze content, read me etc. Am I supposed to be able to see the Xphrase machine somewhere? (by this I mean where is the Xphrase unit with all of its on-screen controls, keyboard etc)? If for example I click on "Xphrase content" in this screen and click on for example 01 Preview Combis-then click on 01 Doompad.fxp, a message pops up saying "Their is no default application specified to open the document 01 Doom Pad.fxp. I am then given an option to "choose an application". I have no idea what I should choose at this stage. Also when I try to launch my Cubase SX2 I get a message saying "couldn't load Xphraxe.dat please locate file manually". I click on "oK" and then Cubase SX2 shuts down saying "The application Cubase SX has unexpectedly quit and would I like to submit a bug report to Apple"? Has anyone got any idea what I may have done incorrectly? I followed all the simple install instructions, (all I had to do was insert the CD and click on install for mac). I'm stumped. Can anyone help? _________________ Apple eMac 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4 w/768 MB RAM/os x Panther 10.3.9/Cubase sx2/Steinberg Xphraze/microKorg/Presonus Inspire 1394/MOTU Fastlane MIDI interface. |
