ive just been on the dv247 website and it says you can email your proof of purchase to steinberg as well as post and fax them is this true?i hope it is its a much more secure way of knowing your gonna get the cheaper upgrade..id be really worried posting a recipt just in case steinberg nver got it or got it too late and lots of us have no access to a fax machine so best way and easiest for all partys invoved would be too scan your recipt and send as an attachment to steinberg..i hope its true they are accepting emails for this and if not can you set up one so people know wether theyve got the grace period update or not instead of waiting weeks for a email ..thanks

Depending where you are you should recieve an email if you've signed up for whatever newsletters or info (so long I've forgotten what) and if you follow the links it's usually a logical process to order and all the relevant info will be there.

I did send an e-mail stating that the sight said
Quote:
How it works
In order to obtain the update, please mail or fax your proof of purchase to Steinberg

Got an answer back that they mean regular mail or Fax, e-mail is not possible. Shocked

So I faxed my email correspondence yesterday, keeping my fingers crossed Cool
