Dear customer,

Each Cubase 5 and Cubase Studio 5 DVD includes a trial version of the digital music distribution service REBEAT Digital. Unfortunately, after releasing Cubase 5 and Cubase Studio 5, we noticed an issue with the REBEAT Digital OS X version found on the DVD, preventing it from being fully functional. Therefore, if you are using Mac OS X, we ask you not to install REBEAT Digital from the DVD, but download the latest and fully functional trial version from the following link:

https://www.rebeatdigital.com/download/rebeat/steinberg/rebeat_setup_osx_intel.zip

More information about the REBEAT music distribution software can be found at:

www.rebeat.com/digital.html

Thank you for choosing Cubase!

It's a pity that some functions doesn't exist in Mac version like "Prelistening" as well as "Buy EAN without uploading a product"

From the manual:

Quote:
9.3.8 PRELISTENING
Determine the pre-listening stream out of your track which shall be used in the stores.

Quote:
11 Buy EAN without uploading a product
When you create a product with the REBEAT Digital software and buy an EAN code for it, the EAN is visible only after the
upload of the product. You can also save the code as graphics file only as soon as the upload is finished (status “Exported to
stores“). But every now and then, you need the EAN before the product has been uploaded – e.g. for sending it to the pressing
plant for physical CD distribution.

\install failed =- the installer could not install some files in "/library".
Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.
