|
|
I have posted this before but it really seems to be such a terrible long time for a firmware/software update for the CC121. I mean: The controller was 400 Euros and I think it should have priority over a free iPhone application (which nobody with a CC121 will ever use). I desperately need an improved EQ knob scaling and maybe there could be a simple function to flip the "Q" and the "G" in the EQ section so that they mirror the software! I personally don´t care if its then labelled wrong on the CC121.
If Steinberg can´t do the firmware upgrade, maybe the firmware should be "opened" so that computer nerds can change it themselves. _________________ Mac Pro, 3 GB RAM, OSX 10.6.x

too right. I mean a dedicated controller that hasnt got the hand to eye orientation right!!! i just cant use the eq section at all coz it annoys me so much. not to mention it slows you down having to think about which knob does which. terrible terrible design flaw!!! _________________ C5.01 MacPro 2.8 8 core. 6 GB, Raid 0 triple array, MOTU 2408, Duende, Liquid Mix, POCO, UAD2 Quad. | I also think a selectable reaction of the knobs can be useful. |

So when will this be released? Maybe it will fix my crashes/freezes?! ... and the resolution of the knobs/fader is awful _________________ Rok

Now that was a 'fun' firmware update process. Lots of flashing coloured lights, the instructions in the guide were excellent, and everything went smoothly. Well done Steinberg! ........playz _________________ Cubase 5.5.2, Halion 3.1, Wavelab 7, Virtual Guitarist 2, Symphobia 1 & 2, LASS, Voxos, Requiem Pro, Superior Drummer 2, EZDrummer, NI Komplete 6, RealGuitar 2, RealStrat, Strum Electric, Symphonic Choirs, Gypsy, VOP, Fab Four, Silk, RA, SD2, Goliath, QL Pianos, Hollywood Strings, Chris Hein Horns, Omnisphere, Trilian, Stylus RMX, etc., CC121, MIDISport 4x4, 2.8 GHz MacPro, OS X 10.6.5, 10 GB RAM, RME Multiface II + HDSP PCIe. |
