In Factory Set 5 the program Keys Richard plays some notes and after some time (about 20-30secounds) the played notes mute. After another 15-30 secounds sound crashes with a loud sharp noise.

Also with other programs Halion 3 crashes after testing many programs 20-30 loaded programs on program place 1. For rehearsal/soundcheck I drag and drop many factory presets from browser to program1 and play some notes. Drag and drop next preset on program 1 to replace and check the next sound. After many changes Halion3 does not react anymore and the mouse-pointer becomes a circling arrow. Halion3 does not react or something like that. After waiting 3-4 minutes I use the taskmanager to kill Halion3.

I have tested it on 4 PCs now (with Win XP 32bit, Win xp 64bit, Vista64 Ultimate, Win7 64bit Ultimate). Behavior is allways the same. Halion1/2/3 is not a stable application.
I bought Halion1, it sucked. I think update to Halion2. It sucked. I think now Halion3 must have killed the bugs. Update to Halion3 and it sucks. Even Halion3.5 sucks.

I don't want to upgrade to Halion4 it will suck and fill Steinberg's pockets with money for an instable application.

I'm fed up with Halion x. I will buy Kontakt4.

Yeah .. I reported this ages ago .. got fed up with bumping the post though.
I can't use Hal3 under Cubase 64bit because of this.
Luckily for me, I mainly use Cubase 32bit still (for anything important) !!

My Kontakt4 came one week ago. It's 64bit works in Cubase5 and I had no freeze and no bluescreen. I'm sorry, that I did not change before to Kontakt4.
