Hey Folks,
I found one way to get your CC121 back on-line if you turn it on after launching Cubase (or if your computer goes to sleep and the CC121 looses link).
You can send the CC121 a 'reset' command and it will reacquire lock with Cubase. (at least on my set up)
DEVICES -> DEVICE SET UP... -> REMOTE CONTROL DEVICES -> Steinberg CC121 -> RESET
I've been able to duplicate this move successfully several times.
Note: One time after putting the i-mac to sleep, I also had to re-select the MIDI input / outputs for the CC121 before the 'reset' command could reach the CC121; but even then the reset procedure brought the 121 back on-line.
Hope this helps. _________________ Cubase 5.1.0 / Reason 4.0

Hi walterh,
for me (I'm using a Windows PC) this doesn't work. It's a pity...
If I forget to switch on the CC121 before starting Cubase, "Steinberg CC121" isn't visible at all in that Device setup window. May be if one looses the link, but this didn't happen until now...
