First the good news:
http://www.steinberg.net/en/newsandevents/news/newsdetail/article/halion-sonic-now-available-1244.html

http://www.steinberg.net/en/products/vst/halion_sonic/halion_sonic.html

Now the bad news: (for me, anyways)
Vista and W7 only. Crying or Very sad

Just visited, Darwin Darker check this:

Top fetures : Cross platform: Windows (VST3, VST2.4) and Mac OS X (VST3, VST2.4, AU) plug-in support

My first impression while listening to the audio demos was not very good. Some sound like patterns from an old auto comp keyboard. The rock funk brass sounds horrible. I didn't like the strings also. The synth demos are just OK. It's my first impression, I repeat, after a long, long waiting time. Keep on checking.

Hey there, listen to the audio demo's in the context of their songs.. They have a few song demo's as well.. See how they stand up.. They sound great over here.. Wink

Surely ur tracks will be more then one synth, right? It's awfully hard to judge a book without a cover Laughing all I'm saying is their songs tell a different story, when they are stacked, layered and tracked.

May be a stupid question-

if you UPGRADE, can you still use Hypersonic afterwards?
