|
|
basically what im trying to do is run a line level signal (of a monitored cubase track) from the tascam to a mixer.
the us-1641 has six outputs - (1,2) (3,4) and L, R monitor outputs.
in cubase, i have the monitor mode activated on the track i want, but i dont know how to run the signal out into the mixer (other than through the headphone out)
if you just use the monitor outputs on the tascam, they give you the original signal from the inputs into the tascam, before it goes into cubase. i have tried using both (1,2) and (3,4) outputs together in left and right configurations into the mixer, but i never seem to get any signal.
i want to have a vst plugin running in realtime set up for a live application, but i dont know how to do it.
any help appreciated. |

| Have you tried defining a stereo output buss that is assigned to, for example, output ports 3 & 4? Then, you could either use sends from the channels you want to go through those ports or just reassign their outputs to the newly defined stereo buss if you don't want their output going anywhere else. |
