Hi,

Hoping someone can help. I have a killer song going, with a real nice GA3 beat. I have done the whole "live to host" thing, and I have a nice tidy midi track with all the right data on it. For some reason though, Groove Agent won't finish the song. Every time I try to export the mixdown to a file (happens with both .wav and .mp3), playback reveals that GA3 starts missing data at around the 2'40" mark. Up to the 2'40" mark its perfect, and I can also start the song just before that mark and go past it with no problem. Seems to only happen when song starts from the beginning. All the data is there, plain to see. I just don't get it.

Any ideas?

Hi litewave,

I'm running SE3 on G5 iMac. OSX 10.4.11 , 2.4 ghz, 2 gb memory

I ended up copying and pasting from a .wav file version of the drum track, to fill in for the lost data. Not ideal.

Cheers,

Chris

Hi stratmahon,

I see your running Cubase SE3 on a Mac. Sorry but I dont have a clue on this one. Especially since it's a Mac. I will say that there were some issues with a cubase 4.x version, and I am thinking it was the 1st minor upgrade , that was actually skipping VSTi notes on playback. I think you should look into the Cubase Mac forum and see if there is a anything that relates, or is closely related. Oh, and also, on PC when recording GA3 midi, there was an issue where the recording had to start at 1.1.1.0 or the timing was incorrect , maybe ?

Hope this helps...

Good Luck !

Cool

I'm experiencing same problem on my PC: Dell XPS410, Intel Core Duo, 2 GB RAM, e-mu 1616m interface, cubase LE, GrooveAgent3.
All the MIDI data is there on the track, but at a certain spot (actually 2 of them), eveything but the bass drum falls out. If I stop the transport and immediately start it again, all sounds are there. Any help out there? Thanks.

Similar problem here, except it happens a lot. Midi data is there and every so often the sound drops out and comes back a few beats later. Though, it still happens no matter where in the song I hit Play. I never hear those notes that I can plainly see...adjusted the velocity of each note...nothing...and they're the same kick, snare notes that were playing before. Running Cubase SE 3 through a Dell XPS...tons of speed and memory...never had this problem before on GA.

...anything to slow down a project...
