Just restarting the topic again,
Steinberg promised that when a new instrument like virtual bassist would be in the pipeline,
we could get a reasonable priced crossgrade because VB is out of bussines.
But it seems it is totally forgotten about it.
I think there are a lot of users like me waiting desperately because of the 11 note scope.
I don't buy broomstick or another one because I already invested in this and I am a bit dissapointed that there is no platform anymore.
Can a moderator shed some light on this, maybe a hint about how long I have to wait.
Atleast then I can give it some consideration to get another.
If I buy another now and this year they anounce a new version then I would be more then dissapointment.
If you feel the same then please enter the poll and leave a message to add some wait to this thread.
Thank you.

You're right, I remember the post. I believe they offered the same for VG2 and The Grand.
I guess thay don't have to honor the deal if they don't release anything new.

It was even a sticky I believe.
But I am afraid it's completely shut down, even the VB forum is really quit these days.
Maybe I should give up _________________ greetz Dylan,

Still no reaction, I did a new post concerning VG2 rebate/crossgrade promises but still no info...no reaction of the SB crew.

Just wondering what you need the upgrade for? Of course it's always good to make the last version better. I am running Virtual Bassist on my system. Mac OS X 10.6.4 (latest version) and Cubase 5.5.0 (latest version). Everything runs fine and I love the Virtual Bassist.

This has to do with upgrade plans, I did buy the full version for 299 euros, when they improve it add new function I could upgrade for say 100 euros, I see this as an investment.
That's why I keep the Cubase platform, I've invested in many upgrades. _________________ Menoj,
