Hi Matt,
since the latest firmware/driver upgrade of the CC121, you can switch its equalizer section (the upper 8 endless rotary controllers) to control the 8 quick controls of each track. Those are assignable to UAD plugins, and this assignment follows the track selection- very handy.
I was about to buy a nocturn, but postponed it now since I bought a new UAD-2 (couldn't resist this month's upgrade offer), and for the moment I am happy with this new abilities of the CC121.

Hi Blueish,
Thanks for getting back.
Yeah i have started to play about a bit more today, with my Evolution mk461c midi controller, which i can setup to control quick controls and any other setting in device setup as a generic controller.
I think i may, get the cc121 and use it alongside my current controller.
Does nayone think this is a good way to go? Would there be any benefit of swapping my current controller for a Nocturn to go alongside the cc121?
Or do i need the cc121 at all? |

Also, one other thought...
It would be great for eg, to be able to open and shut plugs, that are in an insert slot (for example). When you flick through tracks, is there a way you can get the cc121 to open the e button on a channel insert or send effect for eg? Or is this a long winded way to do it? |

In reply to the original question: UAD plugins can be controlled via the AI knob on the CC121 by hovering the mouse over the control in the plug in. Tested last night, works ok. _________________ Rok
