GPO 4 and Logic 9 were suddenly released without warning, so who knows??? Maybe creating a full set of VST expression maps is taking the time.

I'm guessing they just gave up.

The only people I'd imagine buying H4 would be the ever decreasing number of existing Halion users. Most of us switched to Kontakt years ago.

The Engine is already Finished
I think they are only working on Content
and maybe designing a GUI and fixing some problems they bump into

But it already exists Since The Grand 3 is already working on the HALion 4 Engine

I think they skip 4 and directly will to to 5 .... it would not be the first update they skip Smile

Although, I think updates are only sold to owners of version 4, so you first have to update to H4 ...

best

We are still working on it. Indeed the core is already available as The Grand 3 is based on it but there's a lot more to do so it'll take some more time.

Good news! Very Happy

BTW Halion 3 works perfectly for me! Rock solid - no bugs - I am really happy with it.

Frankly, I have no idea... the upgrade/update/special offer prices are usually decided at a later stage.
