I can't locate a driver to download for an older Steinberg USB-2-MIDI Interface. I'm now on system 10 (10.3.7) for Mac. Can this still be found? Can anybody help? Thanks much

Ted

ftp://ftp.pinnaclesys.com/Steinberg/download/Downloads_MAC/OSX/Hardware/Drivers/USB-2-MIDI/Steinberg_USB2MIDI_Support.dmg

Hope it's the right one...

I have the same MIDI interface, and would like to run it in Windows Vista x64.

Does a driver or a workaround exist at all?

The USB-2-MIDI is said to be "identical in construction with the M-Audio MIDISport 2x2", so drivers for that interface can be used with the USB-2-MIDI as well.

There is no Vista 64 bit version at the moment, but Mac OS is being supported up to 10.5.8.

You may download the M-Audio drivers here:

thank you very much, Kubaez, for your help. It was to be expected that there are no drivers for x64, but your advice did help me in another way. This morning I tried to install the USB-2-MIDI on a netbook running XP SP2, but the original Steinberg driver failed to recognize the MIDI ports. With the M-AUDIO driver it worked! Smile

Thanks again, without your advice I probably would have been forced to throw away the device.

Thanks! This thread just saved me $100. Good to know that M-audio continues to support this even if Steinberg doesn't.
