Is it still activated in Remote Devices, in the Devices/Device Setup menu? If so, have the assignments changed?

I've just tried using the Apple remote for the first time (can't think why I didn't try before), but can't get it to work. I've added it as a remote device and accepted the default settings but nothing works. Have I missed something?

P.S. I should have said that the remote works fine with Logic, etc.

Anybody?

It's no big deal but I'd like to use it if I could.

Cheers

Anyone, anyone?

I've recently bought a CI2, and that, plus the Apple remote, would give me everything I want.

I have the same problem. I have an iMac of the latest generation, incl remote control, have the settings done in Cubase 5, but I can't get it to work.
Please, can take anyone of Steinberg have a look on this problem?

yeah this is crap... how much money to have something tell you this or that should work and yet it doesn't.

Steinberg... what's the point? I mean really... your software costs a pretty packet and yet this doesn't work... it isn't just a mild annoyance, it is totally lame.

As time goes on and I get upgrades and the like I get closer to totally sacking cubase... even this thread shows a complete lack of respect to the customer... no replies, no effort... they couldn't care less... what's it to be? Oh, Cubase 6... another £200 and the Apple remote then works?

Really REALLY boring.

Given the amount of time they're taking to release 5.5 and the fact that it is reported to be a major bugfix release, I'll bet a buck this one got fixed.

Hello all,

As Weasel mentions, we are aware of this issue and it will be fixed on Cubase 5.5
Please be patient, as a Cubase user I also need this function to be fixed as much as you do. Wink

Cheers,

Mine stopped working with Cubase too (works fine with iTunes etc.). Can anyone confirm if this was actually fixed in 5.5?
