As I understand from your post in the sticky the USB-eLicenser is not recognized when you've installed the needed LCC version 5.0.2.4.
Are sure that 5.0.2.4 has been installed correctly according to the instructions in the knowledge base article?
When you connect the USB-eLicenser does the "Add New Hardware Wizard" appear? Did you try different USB ports?
Do you have another computer on which you could try it? A system with no previous LCC/eLCC installation would be ideal.

As a last resort you can send the printer port dongle to Steinberg's support. You will get a Cubase VST activation code in return.

Thanks, George.
Yes, I've tried all of those things with no luck.
The "Add New Hardware Wizard" appeared once last night but "No" not usually.
I may well take you up on the "Last Resort" though.
I had wondered if there was such a way that I could have it done for me.
Thanks.
Jim

Well Syncrosoft seems to have trouble accepting the them both at the same time while the E-licenser has licenses on it. So VST 32.5 and Cubase LE 4 on the same device does not seem to be an option.
I've reinstalled XP on that P.C. and have VST & Wavelab 2 on that one.
LE 4 and Wavelab 6 Essentials are going on another P.C. It's a simple matter of walking from one side of the room to the other with an external hard drive and much easier than trying to get everything on one computer.
VST may as well stay on the dongle.
