In HSO go to "options" and click "locate content". Then select all the .hsb-files in your content folder. You might need to copy them from your DVD's if they aren't already installed.
Now when you click any of arrows beside the program slots you get a list of the included instruments.
Contact the Steinberg support if it doesn't work and you'll get help right away.

First, Thanks for the reply. Second, do you mean HSO retail[a box with dvds]? I don't have the retail version, I bought the HALion 16 bit License for the demo that came with Cubase 5, and I was sure that I remembered downloading the Licensed version -it came with a 24 bit content as well as the 16 bit. In my post you have so kindly replied to there are some links to images I made while using the sound browser, and as you can see it eventually found the missing Pro presets and sounds-the image in my post shows the sound browser with "HALionSymphony Orchestra Pro" file[a vstpreset]but didn't show the path to find the file, I can find the 16 bit files OK.
I fear I have insulted the people at Tech help by being clumsy with attachments that said "Failed to Parse" it was a large score and they wanted to help but I did or wrote something that hurt their pride so much I don't get replies from Tech Help, so if you are very good at Cubase you might be able to help by looking at those images and posting on this thread to tell me where you think the file could be. I can also send you the screenshots, yes I use a Mac, or there seems to be a place in this forum for private messages, my problems are not typical AFAIK, but other users will gain no information from my problems with this product.
I have become so paranoid about steinberg that I fear the 24 bit set was to replace my using the tech help. And being given the 24 bit set, in a form that I can't use makes me wonder if they are sitting there giggling about their trick. You never know, in my experience here, whether an answer or hint will be answered by the Moderators. After I posted that last post I did get some good help for a little while but he soon gave up on helping me, and Kubaez ook over, now you have replied and I appreciate it very much. I really studied the Operation Manual but seemingly little things-like that missing Pro content. Not to mention the "interesting" way the HALionSO version numbers are soooo confusing-no fear-it will all be over eventually.
