Cannot use the MR Editor for the MR816csx in wordclock slave mode with cubase 5.5(32 and 64bit) and Lynx-Two/Lynx ADAT card.
Is there something I need to turn off in Cubase or Windows7X64?(MR Tools 1.6)
Every time I turn on the MR816 even after Cubase is using the Lynx-Two (and project opened)and the MR816 is in slave wordclock mode, the MR Editor is grey out and pop up window saying ' MR Editor cannot use IEEE1394 port it is being used by another application'
If I use any other application, Kontakt etc.in the above setup, MR Editor opens with no problem.
I read a similar post that to uninstall the MR Extensions, would this solve the problem above and is it the only answer? do I have the reinstall the MR Extensions every time i want to use MR816csx by itself? are the MR Extensions only necessary for the sweetspot and reverb in MR816csx?
Thanks |

Yes the mr editor is not available when cubase is running, even if the mr is not your selected audio card.
Uninstalling the extensions should allow this to work, but you are right, you would need to reinstall them to use in cubase.
All the functions are available from the mr editor, if you uninstall the mr extensions then you could just use the mr editor all the time. _________________ Cubase 5.5, MR816CSX x2, Presonus FireStudio + Digimax FS, Mackie Control +Ext + C4, Penryn Macbook Pro, 3 Custom Guitars, Roland TD-3, Axiom + Novation Keys, etc. |
