I am just setting up my G3 iMac (500MHz) to run Cubase VST 5 ( Score ).
I found my original installer CD with version 5.
I can recall using version 5.2 ( although i may be wrong ).
Is version 5.2 still available for download and where did Steinberg hide it ? _________________ I wasn't going to do anything today - so far, I'm on schedule...

Thank you Sir.
Reading your profile as to the Cubase software you have/use is CUBASE your main DAW software ?
It was also nice that you notated the history of your ownership.
I started away back with Score version 2 with authorizations on floppy disks . More then often I would have to phone for a replacement flopy authoriaztion disk.
And so from their i worked my way up the ladder with each upgrade as far as SX3.
Charlie Steinberg was a genious. I attribute Cubase to moving up in buying better and faster computers because I soon discovered that with each Cubase upgrade my computers were to slow and lacked the power to run all those plugs one tends to pick up or buy along the way.
Cubase is a DAW software I have learned to both love and hate as much as LOGIC although LOGIC Pro 9 is awsome and in some areas is better then Cubase Essentials.
At the moment I am working with Cubase Essential 5 on my Intel iMac.
I still love/hate Cubase VST 5 Score especially the "Score" element of the software.
Once again thanks for providing me the URL to the upgrade. |
