I really have no reason to upgrade to Omnisphere (nor the money), but I wanted to find out if anyone has gotten Atmosphere working on Win 7 64 bit / Cubase 5.5+ 64 bit.

The farthest I've gotten is when I try to pull up the Atmosphere GUI, I get a tiny corner of it, and no sound except a "tuning" sine wave. Then it crashes and freezes Cubase.

I'd like to find out if anyone was successful, and how they did it.

I'd upgrade to Omnisphere, then you can run it natively in 64bit. Atmosphere I don't think is supported anymore, so eventually it won't work at all.

Well...

When I bought Atmosphere a number of years ago, it was one of those ebay purchases (yeah I was naieve). I legitimately paid for it, but the proper transfer of license was never done. I uh, eventually got it working anyway, but there is no upgrade path for me. That's why I was hoping to get it working on my system.

Atmosphere was designed for a 32bit environment only. I would recommended using Cubase 32 bit on Windows 7 x64. You will be good to go with no "bridges" getting in the way.

Wish I could. I have a couple of larger native 64 bit plugins running now. I may just end up going with Omnisphere.

Plus Omnisphere contains all of Atmosphere anyway. It all comes down to how much money you want to spend.
