Contact cleaner.
For cleaning contacts.
e.g. Deoxit http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/aug98/articles/bencounters.html
For faders there are some contact cleaners that leave a light lubricant behind after the solvent has evaporated. Try one without first , then maybe use a little of a lubricating one after if you feel it needs it .
Invaluable on old leads & sockets . _________________ Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player._____________________________

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I've had the unit for a while now and it's never got any worse or better - just always been very noisey. I'll give it a spray. _________________ Cubase 5.5.1; Asus P5b-Deluxe mobo, XPProSP2, Intel Core-2 Duo 2.4GHz E6600, 2GB DDR800 RAM, 5xHDs (1 external), ATI Radion X300 PCIx dualhead, Tascam DM 3200 with IF-FW/DM, UAD-1 and 2.Hear sounds at www.sparklymusic.com |
