I recently migrated from XP 32 to Win7 64.
There have been a few program & plugin casualties, Wavelab being one.
It installs, but crashes after I try & open a file. I set it up to run in comptibilty mode, and as administrator, and that didn't help either, it wouldn't even boot.
Should it not run even in 32bit mode, or do I have to upgrade to 6 or 7?
Too bad because I really don't need any of the newer features.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi.

Wavelab 3 will not operate on Windows 7, 32-bit.

It is precisely the reason I am buying Wavelab 7.

Cheers!

Thanks man, I guess I needed to read it.
Spending $500 for 7 wasn't part of the upgrade unfortunately.
Maybe I'll look for 6.

There are a few features in Wavelab 7 that I need that are not available in Wavelan Essential.

Have you examined Wavelab Essential to if it it suits your needs? Considering it is only $100.00 it may be a better investment than buying
the discontinued Wavelab 6.

Cheers!
