There seems to be a bug in the audio montage: I can't open correctly the active clip tools window from the workspace specific tools column in the audio montage. There only opens another frame which contains just another picture of the current background. I assume that this has been reported already and hope it will be fixed in 7.01?

I have never seen this before. If you quit and restart, do you still see this?

Oooh! I am having this trouble all the time!! it's very frustrating when wanting to change a fade etc. Nothing I do seems to make it work in fact I have had to resort to restart a job in WL6 because of this. I assumed it was specific to my machine and graphics etc.
I think I have only seen it open properly once or twice, the rest of the time it keeps giving me that window with just a copy of the back ground of where ever it happens to be over.

Can you try to have this Tool window docked and open all time?

I think I have fixed it - I had it floating all the time....so I docked it (while it was still showing a copy of the background) and then saved the layout as my default....quit WL and now it seems to be showing correctly all the time, also as a floating window.
I guess it got a bit mixed up when I was sorting out my preferred layout when I first started working with WL7.
