Do you think the CC121 is missing a few buttons?

Do you feel the need for a button for any of the following`/:

1. To start from 0
2. Start from L indicator
3. Start from next marker

I don't think it needs more specialized buttons as we have the the four assignable ones for custom functions. Adding buttons for any available Cubase function would make this thing huge.

What I really miss is a dedicated shift button as it gets difficult to remember all these combinations where you have to press two buttons simultaneously to switch between controller functions (EQ/Quick Control mode, folder open/close, pan/volume swap, fader on/off etc).

AGREED!

it needs a dedicated transport control pad i think to allow navigating

but obviously that is not the product we bought but if there is another version in the future this would be better

BUT WHAT REALLY SUCKS ABOUT THIS IS THE HAND TO EYE COORDINATION WITH THE EQ!!!!! it is upside down from what is on the screen ! utterly infuriating. A dedicated controller which is the wrong way round!!? I mean really !!! a child could have done better. I wish Steinberg would write a firmware patch for us who would like to have it match what you see on the screen. What next ??? a gain control that adds gain when you turn it anti clockwise perhaps ??????

Agreed!

Surely it's not even firmware. just a new release of the installed software.

In fact, the CC121 could really use some love in the software department. There's a great opportunity to enhance this product with more software options (like this one).

That's what I expected when i bought it.

It's a good idea, not followed through.

not really, thanks.

i use my CC121 in conjunction with a cheap usb numeric keypad and can program the commands you suggest onto keys.

I'm MUCH more interested in having the EQ dials match the layout onscreen. basic UI fail. someone should be ashamed.
