Hello
I wonder if anyone could clear something up for me?!
My poor aging computer (P4 with 2GB RAM)is finally starting to fail and it's time for me to get a new PC. Unfortunately, I've also got to budget a USB audio interface into the price as my M-Audio Delta 44 PCI audio card is not going to be compatable with the newer motherboards and I don't know enough about PCs to start building my own.
I'm looking forward to the fast speeds and RAM capacities that are around today- anything will be faster than what I have and it will be nice to have more tracks open before projects grind to a halt...but my budget will not be able to stretch to new software too, so my question is: Is anyone running Cubase Essential 4 (the newest version) on a PC that has Windows 7? Is it compatable? Do you have any problems?
...I'm not really fancying having to upgrade my Cubase again because the money is going to have to go on the audio interface!
Cheers for reading and for any advice!!
