Hi all,
Quite annoying this. I have a project that's not particularly bigger than any of my others but for some reason in this one, the CPU load is sitting at 50% even when play is inactive, so you can imagine the crackles and nonsense I get when tracks are playing. As mentioned I don't have huge amounts of effects loaded and have used Sends rather than Inputs where ever possible. Any one know if there's an item\program that will list what is using so much of the CPU up, so I can adjust accordingly. Just having something that shows 0-100% is not that helpful\useful at this time
Cheers
Colin. |

The obvious thing to do is to try switching off plugins/vsti's one at a time, re-enabling after each one to try and find the cpu hog. _________________ Split V4.5.2 The Devil is in the detail |

Yes that is obvious A bit of a pain in the harris to start doing that on a project that is near mixed and ready to go to master ; yes I know I could copy it. Thought I'd check on the off chance there just might have been an application out there to point me in the right direction before dissecting it. |
