This is another remix. The original track was featured on my 2005 CD "Black Sands". Vaughn (NTR) approached me recently asking for the tracks as he hopes to do a vid to this one sometime... showcasing his guitar playing. Well, it was 5 years ago since this one was first assembled, and after several system upgrades, rebuilds, reinstalls and crashes etc etc since then I found no longer had all the samples/plugins//VSTi's that I had originally used in this track back then - A perfect excuse for a remix I reckon!! So this is NTR on lead guitar(s)...
Through The Gorge 2010
Oh, and in case anyone is wondering what the inspiration behind this track is well... there's this fabulous, highly scenic gorge that I used to love driving through when I was younger called the Karangahake Gorge...
Plenty of pics here on google

Hey Ian, I got a miserable cold/flu goin on today and this cheered me up, thanks!
Since recording this, I have taken to amp modeling and been fairly happy with it, but ya know every time I listen back to this track, I feel like micing up the ol Marshall again.
By the way, those pics of the gorge are great. Reminds me a lot of British Columbia, near where I live. One thing I must do in this lifetime is travel to New Zealand. _________________ Cheers,

Sounds good!
Nice composition - I especially like where the drum accents first come in. Nice snare!
Nice work from Vaughn, as well. Certainly worth a redo. what year did you first release this, Ian?
I also enjoyed the pics. Thanks for the Sunday morning aside.

Well, there's a lesson learned. Never do morning critiques before I've had my coffee.
Felt good to let me have it, though, didn't it, after all my scathing snare critiques. _________________ Box o' Chocolates cd at CDBABY

Good stuff guys. I don't remember hearing this.......I really like the guitar solo/sound and especially the keys and key pad, etc that occur during the solo. I even like the snare |

Yeah, but it was a damn good choice on your part. Scott Rockenfield if I remember correctly? Have you used them since? _________________ Cheers,
