This problem went away and now its back. Cubase crashes when I attempt to remove a VSTi track. Any thoughts? _________________ Windows XP - 32 Bit

I get that all the time now. Its probably the vst bridge. _________________ Cubase 5.5.2

Wouldn't the vst bridge exist only in the 64 bit version? This happens in 32 bit also. _________________ Home Built - Antec 300 Case - Intel Q9550@ 3.4G - Gigabyte-UD3R - 8G Ballistix RAM - Vista64 Business - C Studio 5 64&32 - Nvidia 9800GT oc - WD Velociraptor 150 - WD Caviar Blk 640 - WD Caviar Blk 1TB - Gemini II Cooler - Corsair VX 550 Pwr Supply - Tascam FW1082 Mxr/Sndcrd/Intrfce/Surface Ctrl - Dual Monitors - Addictive Drms - HSO - Melodyne Editor |

More info? "remove a VSTi track" is a bit vague. Is it tied to anything?
Have you trashed your prefs? _________________ Orch/Film Score

The track would be tied to a VSTi, like Halion One or EZ Drummer. Simply put, I right click on the track, scroll to 'Remove Selected Track', click on it and I recieve an error message and then I can't do anything further with Cubase. I have to Control/Alt/Delete to close it.
What do you mean by "trashed your prefs?" _________________ Windows XP - 32 Bit

| What happens if you first unload (= set to "none") the VSTi from a track you're about to delete and then delete the track? |

I had tried this, but it didn't make a difference. However, I am able to delete VSTi tracks now. I honestly can't say why the problem has cleared up. _________________ Windows XP - 32 Bit
