This problem went away and now its back. Cubase crashes when I attempt to remove a VSTi track. Any thoughts?

Wouldn't the vst bridge exist only in the 64 bit version? This happens in 32 bit also.

More info? "remove a VSTi track" is a bit vague. Is it tied to anything?

Have you trashed your prefs?

The track would be tied to a VSTi, like Halion One or EZ Drummer. Simply put, I right click on the track, scroll to 'Remove Selected Track', click on it and I recieve an error message and then I can't do anything further with Cubase. I have to Control/Alt/Delete to close it.

What do you mean by "trashed your prefs?"

What happens if you first unload (= set to "none") the VSTi from a track you're about to delete and then delete the track?

I had tried this, but it didn't make a difference. However, I am able to delete VSTi tracks now. I honestly can't say why the problem has cleared up.
