I have spent many many hours scoring a theater project. 33 separate pieces of music all flowing into each other. Cubase, like Final Cut and so many other programs, has this elegant interface with little bitty windows for such things as writing the name of an exported track, or changing automation values.... on and on. After 12 plus hours of work, the little eyes get exhausted.

Please make the value section of any aspect of the program subject to enlargement. Maybe it's there already and I'm a dumbkopf. That's very possible. Ask my kid.

But I believe this is a tech disease that is shared by many developers. I am now in Final Cut Express hell with all the tiny little fields.

I just hate it. I want to work, not squint. Please guys, consider how much time we all spend changing small little number values. The form over function quality of this is just way over the top.

I will now make the final fonts to this screed tiny.

It's not as bad as some I've used (MOTU Audiodesk - where you have a minuscule target to click a button...), but in the meantime you could enable the screen zoom in System Prefs>Universal Access and see if you can get that set up to your taste. I teach people with bad eyesight and I often use it. One of the features I'd like to see is for the cursor to be able to incorporate a magnifier (like you can do with the Dock). That would be so useful.
