Hey Everybody,
After loading the new 5.5 update, i was playing with Groove Agent and loaded a kit.
When i removed the kit (Reset on Groove Agent)(shift)+mouse click) there was a Microsoft Visual C++ Error.
It indicated that there was a assertion failure!

Can anyone confirm that this is a possible bug?
My Spec:Windows Xp sp3, Quad core, 4gigs ram.

Thanks for any help.

If you choose BangerCD.Vstpreset, then hold shift while clicking the reset button to clear the pads on Groove Agent,
Microsoft Visual C++ Error pops up.

This happen with a number of presets!
I think there maybe some corruption.

You may have to choose the presets a couple of time to
get it to happen.

Any help would be appreciated!

the Microsoft Visual C++ Error happened here ONCE, at the first try.
Now it doesn't seem to happen anymore, after several tries ... ?

Thanks for the reply HowlingUIf,
I can reproduce this like clock work.

I'm completely confused to why you were able to do this once,
and not anymore!

Yes, happened to me, I've never used the reset button before so I tried what you suggested and the computer froze, I won't use it again.

A single SHIFT + CLICK on RESET doesn't do anything here. To reproduce it I had to do a double click, but then it gets really nasty and the whole PC freezes Eh? So yes, confirmed.

Thank's JanHendrikPeters,
And thank you everybody for all the the help in testing
this nasty bug out!

I tested sliced samples in Groove Agent, and it seem to function we'll.
I think when the new kits loaded from the new update, it caused some kind of corruption IMOI.

And yes, i think it's time for BETA testing from steinberg customers if they want to
participate to test this program!

Other then that, i do want to say that the program runs smooth on Xpsp3 so far!
And the GUI is a nice change for Cubase 5.5.

Thank you,

Blueblackness Applause Dancing
