|
|
Hi, I'm using Cubase SE. I know how to add effects to an audio channel (inserts/sends/master) and all, and it goes well for playback, but how can I listen to the effect while I'm recording (or just playing to see how it sounds?)
And how can I add audio effects to VST instruments, they don't seem to have their own audio channel like in SX? -.-
Regards,

Turn off 'Direct 'Monitoring' somewhere in the settings (don't know where this is in SE) for monitoring with FX.
As for the VSTi audio channels: I'm pretty sure SE has them. Don't know if SE has this feature but in SX you can hide certain channels in the mixer. Search the mixer window for these 'hide' buttons (prolly on the left side)...
