Apologies but FYI again the MEAP site is down.
The host provider are having some "issues" apparently. {SIGH} They expect it to be sorted in the next few hours. There is no loss of data or anything, it is a server end problem.
I will post back as soon as I see everything is back in order. (or if anyone else sees www.meap.biz is back up and running - feel free to post. (It is 04:10 A.m. here in UK - I could do with going to bed really).
Thanks and once again, apologies to anyone trying to get onto the MEAP site at this time. _________________ Phil Pendlebury - www.meap.biz - www.pendlebury.biz - www.digital96.com - www.riffsandrays.com

I've read a number of pages in this thread as well as browsing the MEAP website, but I haven't seen a price quoted -- I;d like to know before registering (and purchasing)

Hi douglas,
I think you were unfortunate that you visited the site just as the host was finishing off fixing the earlier problems. The main site was up but the database was not linked properly.
It is all back up and running now. So all the info you need is available at:
http://www.meap.biz/download
If you do need to ask any other questions feel free to register and post up on the MEAP forum. There is no obligation to purchase and the registration is secure and private. _________________ Phil Pendlebury - www.meap.biz - www.pendlebury.biz - www.digital96.com - www.riffsandrays.com

Nevermind buying extra programs...
Here is a SIMPLE way to export ALL your tracks...

I have always done it in C4 like this:
Firstly Reset the mixer and switch off all plug ins etc.
Use 'Range Selector' tool and drag over all parts so it starts at the beginning of the project.
Go to Audio Menu and 'Bounce Selection', you are asked if you want to 'Replace Events' tick yes.
Then select all the tracks (not the parts in the arrange window the actual tracks).
Go to File - 'Export' - 'Export Individual Tracks', create a new folder and that's it, you end up with separate WAV files that all start at the same point and can be imported into Pro Tools, Logic etc.
I have a feeling the 'Export Individual Tracks' is not available in Studio 4 only C4.

Then it is obvious you don't know the extent of the capabilities of MEAP. It does much more than the export of tracks in the way you describe. But what you are describing works fine for that purpose alone.

LOL. Do some reading mate. For quick example: Does your SIMPLE method work with MIDI tracks? Can you export marker ranges? Suggest you read up a the MEAP forum and look at the videos http://www.meap.biz/video and them maybe post back with a simple method of doing all that MEAP can do. No offence but always better to hold your comments until you actually know the subject.
@ Scrummy: It's work / holiday. thanks for the good wishes. _________________ Phil Pendlebury - www.meap.biz - www.pendlebury.biz - www.digital96.com - www.riffsandrays.com

6.60.339 UPDATE:
Added support for Cubase 5
Added support for Cubase Studio 5
Added option to adjust colour tolerance when searching for screen graphics (inside meapdefs.ini file)
Added option to adjust font size in main dialogs (inside meapdefs.ini file)
Added option to stop MEAP checking for audio application (inside meapdefs.ini file)
Added shortcut to open manual within MEAP application
Updated manual
Removed pointless "MEAP Checks" area of MEAP dialog
Improved performance of graphic searches
Recompiled with latest compiler (v11.0.31)
Recompiled all free tool and utilities with latest compiler (v11.0.31)
Fixed rare problem with SX3 occasionally stopping after exporting first track
Improved support for Cubase Studio 4 and Cubase Essential 4 and various other version 3 and 4 applications permutations
Why use MEAP when Cubase 5 already has batch export?
Cubase 5's batch export is a great new addition to the Cubase family. And it is very convenient to have it built into the audio application. However, as it is at the moment, you have the option to export your individual tracks but:
There are no options for locator settings. So all your files will be the same size from Left to Right locator, no matter what is on the track.
There is no option to export the individual parts from each track.
There are no advanced or custom file name settings.
There is no way to export marker sections.
There is no way to make a log file containing your export info.
There is no way to automatically save your project and shut down your DAW when the export is finished.
The above are just some of the reasons to continue using MEAP. _________________ Phil Pendlebury - www.meap.biz - www.pendlebury.biz - www.digital96.com - www.riffsandrays.com

Greetings.
Just wanted to let you know that (once again) my hosting provider is experiencing down time. If anyone is trying to reach the MEAP site (or even email me) none of it is active at the moment.
I apologise for this and yes I know it is about time I changed hosts. I have had so much downtime over the last 6 months it is beyond a joke.
I do have a new MEAP update prepared and will be launching it as soon as the provider sort things out at their end.
Best regards,
Phil. _________________ Phil Pendlebury - www.meap.biz - www.pendlebury.biz - www.digital96.com - www.riffsandrays.com

It was DOS (Denial of Service) attack! So they suspended my account.
Apparently my sites had received millions of hits in a matter of minutes... If only MEAP were THAT popular.
Anyway end result was that it borked the entire shared server.
I have no idea why anyone woudl do that to me but I don't fully understand it to be honest. Maybe it is just a random thing. _________________ Phil Pendlebury - www.meap.biz - www.pendlebury.biz - www.digital96.com - www.riffsandrays.com

I know. Mad eh?
This release was purely as a new update to the software I use to compile MEAP was released.
It's not a vital one and that's why I didn't announce it via the Updates List.
Although I am hoping to be on 6.3565267567.23451425435143541483541838 by sometime next year.

Thanks guys.
The software I use to develop MEAP also gets updates quite regularly. When there is an update to that software it often fixes small issues that may affect functions I have used in MEAP. So whenever there is a new release I usually update MEAP - recompile the code into the .EXE file and release it.
It's all good.
