Hi,
I just bought and installed HS2, and would like to find out more about the Wizoo extensions - but neither the Wizoo site nor the Steinberg site mention anything about them. Are they still available? And if so, how much are they and where do I get them?
Thanks a lot!

You can still get the extensions - I'm certain of this as mine arrived in the mail this morning. You might have to look around online stores to find it.
I don't know whereabouts you are, but this is where I got mine and they're showing one in stock still ....

Hi yevsterus,
if you're interested in the expansions, try the following thing:
1) Create a Cubase project.
2) Open HS 2 as a VSTi.
3) Open another instance of HS 2 and -
- if you're lucky like some guys on this forum (including me), the expansions will show up in the program list of the second instance with full functionality.
Some said it only works when the first instance is completely empty (no instrument loaded), but I don't have to do even that.
Must be a bug in the script; but I'm not unhappy about this one... _________________ OS: Windows XP Prof SP 3; Programme: Cubase SX 3.1.1 & C5.0.1; Groove Agent 2, Hypersonic 2, div. Thanks, Axeman! I don't use Cubase, though, I'm in the Sonar family (please don't hate me! ) For anyone else who may be interested in these, I contacted Steinberg, and they said they don't sell those, but Wizoo might. Then again, Wizoo's broken up (I've sent an e-mail to wizoosounds.com and have yet to get a reply).
Not sure I'm at the point of using these without paying for them, so I'll wait for a response from Wizoo... I've had a chance to play with the US-1 instruments, though... it would be a rotten shame if they were wasted simply because no one's around to sell them.
There seem to be plenty of European vendors who still have them, though... it's just us Americans that are getting left out. |
